I am an experienced and qualified cognitive behavioural psychotherapist based in the west end of Glasgow. I offer a safe and confidential place where you can explore and manage the things in life that are causing you distress, sadness, or anxiety. I have helped many clients with a range of problems such as OCD, anxiety disorders, panic, depression, anger, relationship issues, addiction and bereavement. We will work together to discuss why you feel and act the way you do, once you understand yourself and your situation better we can look at where we can make helpful changes and move forward. I believe we all hold the power to evoke change within ourselves and to meet our goals, sometimes we just need a little bit of help to get there.

I am an integrative counsellor, specialising in cognitive behavioural psychotherapy (CBT). This approach is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and behaviours all influence one another, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in vicious cycles of unhelpful behaviours. This can leave us feeling quite stuck and despairing. This might be why you are finding yourself on my page today. Through the use of tools and techniques I can help you deal with your problems even if they seem overwhelming and break them down into manageable parts so you can start to think about them in a more positive way. CBT sessions are usually short term and structured. CBT has a sound evidence base and has been proven to help with problems such as anxiety, depression, OCD and disordered eating. I also have received training in person centred counselling, psychodynamic, Solution focused brief therapy, transactional analysis, personal construct psychology, an introduction to gestalt therapy and regularly attend CPD events on subjects like systemic and family counselling, trauma counselling and pharmacology.
